Prosinec 2006 - Global participatory "Fool's World Map" project
This is a project visualizing the world map which many fools in the world imagine. If you can see this map comfortably, you are definitely a fool.
True story: One day, a Texan asked me a question when I lived in U.S. The question was "How many hours does it take to go to Japan by car?". He didn't know where Japan is, and even before that, he didn't know that Japan is an island. And then, I thought. "What kind of world map is pictured in his mind?"
This was a beginning to think that it might be fun to gather those mixed up recognitions of countries and visualize it as a world map imagined by the fools in the world.
C'est mon projet afin de visualiser la planisphère telle que beaucoup de crétins à travers le monde l'imaginent. Si cette carte ne vous dérange pas plus que ça , c'est que vous êtes un imbécile.
Histoire vraie: Un jour, un Texan m'a posé une question alors que je vivais aux Etats-Unis, la question était: "Combien d'heures faut-il pour aller au Japon en voiture?". Il ne savait pas où se situait le Japon, et même avant tout cela: il ne savait pas que le Japon est une île. Je me suis mis à penser: «Quel genre de carte du monde se représente-t-il dans son esprit?"
J'ai commencé à trouver qu'il pourrait être amusant de rassembler ces constructions mentales absurdes et de dessiner une carte du monde tel qu'imaginée par les abrutis de la planète.
